We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Restorative Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team.
Make a Difference. Restore Independence.
As a Restorative CNA, you will work closely with nursing and therapy teams to assist residents in maintaining and improving their physical abilities. Your role is essential in promoting independence and enhancing quality of life through restorative care programs.
Required Qualifications
- Active CNA certification (state of employment)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous CNA or long-term care experience preferred
- Interest or experience in restorative nursing programs (preferred)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Compassionate, patient, and encouraging attitude
- Ability to follow care plans and therapy guidelines
- CPR certification (a plus)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with restorative programs (ambulation, range of motion, positioning, and exercises)
- Support residents in maintaining independence with daily activities
- Follow individualized restorative care plans as directed by nursing and therapy staff
- Accurately document participation, progress, and outcomes
- Encourage and motivate residents to meet functional goals
- Monitor and report changes in physical or mental condition
- Ensure a safe and supportive environment during all restorative activities
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
