Restoration Technician

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. As a Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for responding to water, fire, and mold damage incidents, performing mitigation and restoration services to return properties to their pre-loss condition. Day-to-day tasks include assessing damages, conducting water extraction and drying, managing restoration equipment, and maintaining clear communication with team members and clients. You will ensure compliance with safety and environmental protocols throughout the restoration process.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in water damage assessment and water damage restoration processes
• Experience in mitigation techniques and handling related restoration equipment
• Clear and professional communication skills for client and team interactions
• Basic knowledge of invasive species and their impact on property restoration
• Physical ability to lift equipment, move materials, and work in challenging environments
• Familiarity with safety standards and environmental regulations related to restoration work
• Certifications such as IICRC, Water Damage Restoration (WRT), or equivalent are a plus
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
