Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team at bb.q Chicken! As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the restaurant’s daily operational performance and financial well-being. You will help operate, train, and lead staff, ensuring they reflect the restaurant’s high standards. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing a successful restaurant. 
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Open and/or close the restaurant to include prep, cleaning, re-stock, or counting cash drawer
  • Execute and/or mentor staff on daily preparation to ensure food safety standards
  • Execute and/or mentor staff on cooking of menu items while maintaining quality and cleanliness
  • Execute and/or mentor staff on packaging of menu items and ensuring orders are prompt and correct  
  • Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
  • Help maintain and track inventory of food supply and ingredients
  • Train, manage, and conduct periodic performance reviews of staff
  • Adhere and coach staff to all health and safety rules and regulations
  • Develop and coordinate marketing efforts and community events
 Qualifications: 
  • High school diploma/GED
  • Previous restaurant management experience
  • Familiarity with Delivery Platforms (DoorDash, UberEats, etc) and Toast POS software
  • Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
  • Excellent management and leadership skills
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
