Reporting To: General Manager - Monona
FLSA Classification: Full-Time, Exempt



Position Overview

What You’ll Do

As a Restaurant Manager, you’ll partner closely with the General Manager to lead daily operations and help create the welcoming, energetic atmosphere Buck & Honey’s is known for.


You’ll:


  • Lead daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations
  • Inspire and develop a high-performing hospitality team
  • Create exceptional guest experiences and resolve concerns with care and professionalism
  • Coach, mentor, and recognize team members to help them grow
  • Ensure smooth shifts, strong communication, and proper staffing levels
  • Support inventory management, operational efficiency, and cost controls
  • Maintain high standards for food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service
  • Help drive sales, team engagement, and overall restaurant success
  • Live and model our core values: Empathy, Inclusion, Community & Fun

What We’re Looking For

We’re searching for someone who:


  • Has at least 2 years of restaurant or hospitality management experience
  • Leads with positivity, accountability, and strong communication skills
  • Can stay organized and calm in a high-energy environment
  • Is passionate about hospitality and team development
  • Enjoys being hands-on and actively involved on the floor
  • Has experience with POS systems (Toast and Restaurant365 experience is a plus)
Bonus points for:


  • Upscale casual or full-service dining experience
  • Spanish language skills
  • Hospitality certifications

This is an active leadership role that includes:


  • Evenings, weekends, and holiday availability
  • Standing/walking for extended periods
  • Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs
  • Working in a lively, fast-paced restaurant environment
  • 45-50 hours per week
