Overview

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations at Thai Mango. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on maintaining high standards across service, cleanliness, food safety, and team performance.
This role suits someone who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and supports both front and back of house while delivering a strong customer experience.

Expectations

  • Run the Restaurant
  • Oversee daily operations from open to close
  • Coordinate service across dine-in and online orders
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient restaurant environment at all times
  • Ensure full compliance with DPH (Department of Public Health) standards at all times
Manage Operations

  • Manage inventory, ordering, vendors, and deliveries
  • Monitor stock levels and resolve shortages quickly
  • Support both front of house and kitchen as needed
  • Accurately manage and pack all online and takeaway orders
Lead the Team

  • Supervise servers and kitchen staff
  • Support training, performance, and daily team coordination
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and accountable team environment
Serve the Guests

  • Provide consistent, high-quality customer service
  • Promote current offers and encourage repeat business
  • Handle any customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Ensure Compliance & Responsibility

  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately
  • Maintain food safety, hygiene, and operational standards
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements
Required Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Restaurant management or supervisory experience, preferably in Asian cuisine
  • Ability to lead and manage a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable handling cash and POS systems
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Fluent in English (Spanish advantageous)
  • Valid driver s license and access to a car preferred
Additional Information

  • Food Safety certification preferred (support provided if needed)
  • Evenings and weekends are required as part of the role
