Assist the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations and leading staff to deliver exceptional guest service, high-quality food and beverage experiences, and strategic marketing initiatives that drive profitability and guest satisfaction.

  • Oversee all front-of-house operations during service periods, ensuring strict adherence to established standards, steps of service, and opening/closing protocols across all outlets.
  • Provide clear, professional direction to staff through effective verbal and written communication, pre-shift meetings, and departmental briefings covering pertinent operational updates.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and develop staff performance continuously, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and service excellence.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Federal, State, and Local regulations as well as company policies, including TIPS Certification, ServSafe standards, and all standard operating procedures.
  • Champion the guest experience by proactively engaging with customers, resolving concerns to full satisfaction, maintaining interdepartmental relationships, and soliciting feedback to drive continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular quality assessments of food, beverage, and service standards throughout all outlets, including temperature verification, product presentation, and preparation methods, implementing corrective action as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with the Restaurant Manager to ensure timely submission of daily reports, maintain accurate financial and cash handling procedures, and support the planning and execution of special events.
  • Address all staffing, scheduling, and employee relations concerns, escalating disciplinary matters to the Restaurant Manager while maintaining a professional, well-presented, and compliant work environment.
  • Complete other duties as may be assigned by Restaurant Manager.

Work Environment

This position operates within a professional office environment and routinely utilizes standard business equipment, including computers, telephones, copiers, and related administrative tools.

Physical Demands:

This role is primarily sedentary in nature; however, it requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform routine movements such as bending, standing, and ascending or descending stairs as operationally necessary.
