Position Summary
The Restaurant Busser/Server Assistant plays a vital support role in delivering an exceptional dining experience. This position ensures the dining room is clean, organized, and fully prepared while assisting servers in providing efficient, attentive service in a fast-paced, upscale environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly and efficiently
- Assist servers with food delivery, beverage refills, and guest requests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and restrooms
- Refill water, bread, and other table service items as needed
- Ensure tables are properly set according to restaurant standards
- Support overall flow of service to enhance the guest experience
- Maintain stock of linens, glassware, and service supplies
- Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Assist with opening and closing side work duties
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a positive, guest-focused attitude
- Ability to take direction and communicate effectively with team members
- Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30–40 lbs for extended periods
- Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Food Handler Certification preferred
