Respite Center Case Aide - FT Graveyard/FT Float/Per Diem (On-Call)

Location: Clallam County Respite Center

  • One FT Float with $2,000 signing bonus

Pay range: $19 to $21 per hour

Schedule:

  • Full-Time Float Base Schedule: 12-hour shifts from 3pm to 3am Friday, Saturday, Sunday and every other Monday (this is subject to change due to shift coverage for callouts or vacation requests from coworkers)

About the Role:
The Respite Center Case Aide supports individuals in crisis at our 6-bed mental health respite center. You’ll play a key role in providing observation, support, and coordination of care for clients in a safe, recovery-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and support individuals experiencing mental health crises
  • Coordinate care with clinicians, DCRs, nurses, and other providers
  • Assist with admissions, discharges, and medication self-administration
  • Offer emotional support, referrals, and skill-building encouragement
  • Communicate with outside care partners and support teams
  • Help with meals, housekeeping, and maintaining a clean, safe facility
  • Accurately document services using the electronic medical record system

What You’ll Need:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • One year experience in a clinical or behavioral health setting preferred
  • Valid WA driver’s license with insurable driving record
  • Agency Affiliated Counselor registration (we help you obtain this)
  • CPR/First Aid certification and Food Worker Permit
  • Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and provide immunization records (MMR, HepB, Tdap and flu shot)

  • Can perform light housekeeping and safely lift up to 35 pounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting individuals with mental health needs
  • Familiarity with CareLogic or similar EMR systems
