The role of the Pulmonary Resource Nurse is to collaborate with respiratory care practitioner to provide care for patients with respiratory difficulties within the inpatient setting. The pulmonary resource nurse must be able to assess and treat patients of all ages from newborns to geriatrics. The Pulmonary Resource Nurse will work closely with the manager of respiratory department and the managers of pediatrics and med-surg patient care units.
