$35.52–$53.28 an hour — Full-time, 36 hours a week/day shift.

Weekend requirement. +$2.50/hr for evening and weekend shifts.



Boulder Community Health is seeking a Respiratory Therapist Clinical Coordinator who will work to ensure the accomplishment of the department's and BCH mission and goals. Is a leader, mentor, and role model. Is responsible for the department in the absence of the Manager and/or Director.  Represents the staff through growth, change, and problem resolution.  Provides appropriate action, follow-through and closure to any situation affecting all patient care areas she/he is involved.  Takes responsibility for assigned unit projects.  Interacts in a respectful manner, considerate of age and physical abilities, and assists individuals in a manner that takes into account their special needs or age-related needs.

Qualifications 

•Colorado Respiratory Therapist License in good standing is required.

•Certifications are required based on the department's RT job description.

•Registered Respiratory Therapist through the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) is required.

•BLS required within the conditional period

•NRP required within the conditional period

•ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required within the conditional period 

•PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required within the conditional period



Experience: 

•Minimum of 12 months of acute care RT experience preferred.



Responsibilities

•Serve as a clinical role model and resource for staff.

•Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resources to ensure efficient operations.

•Identify and address departmental issues; escalate and recommend solutions as needed.

•Collaborate with leadership to resolve staff and operational concerns.

•Provide input on employee performance, including coaching and corrective actions.

•Maintain fiscal accountability.

•Delegate, supervise, and direct staff, students, and support personnel.

•Deliver timely recognition, feedback, and coaching.

•Support and model organizational initiatives and best practices.

•Address issues promptly and effectively.

•Foster a positive, professional work environment aligned with organizational values.

•Promote patient-centered care, safety, and service excellence.

•Ensure efficient patient flow and strong interdepartmental communication.

•Build effective relationships through open communication.

•Lead by example in clinical excellence and support staff development.

•Oversee daily operations, including staffing, assignments, and equipment.

•Apply critical thinking to balance patient acuity, staff capability, and resources.

•Support quality, safety, and regulatory compliance initiatives.

•Monitor documentation, reporting, and adherence to policies and procedures.

•Participate in meetings, training, and continuous improvement efforts.

•Maintain awareness of regulatory standards and environment of care requirements.
