Job Description
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in a high-acuity hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong respiratory care experience and the ability to provide quality patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory assessments and treatments for patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions
- Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and ventilator support
- Monitor patient respiratory status and respond to changes in condition
- Assist in emergency and critical care respiratory procedures
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and respiratory treatment records
- Support respiratory care needs across various patient populations
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Current AHA ACLS certification required
- Current AHA PALS certification required
- Active RRT certification through NBRC required
- Strong critical care and ventilator management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
