Respiratory Therapist - Home Care in Tucson, AZ

Join a leading facility in Tucson, Arizona, as a Respiratory Therapist providing compassionate home healthcare services. This role offers flexible weekday scheduling, a competitive hourly rate of $35.00, full benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives. You’ll work with a supportive team, managing a variety of respiratory cases, with minimal after-hours call and reimbursement for travel within service areas.

  • Duration: Ongoing, with potential for extension or permanent placement
  • Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Hours/Week: 40 hours
  • Employment Type: Full-time, hourly paid
  • Licenses/Certs: Active Respiratory Therapist (RRT, CRT, RC) or RN license required
  • Experience: 1+ year of clinical experience preferred, healthcare or homecare experience a plus

Pay & Benefits:
  • Pay package discussed upon application, with hourly rate of $35.00 and per diem where applicable
  • Sign-On Bonus: $2,000 after 60 days and $2,000 after 180 days of employment

What You’ll Do:
  • Conduct comprehensive in-home respiratory assessments and equipment evaluations
  • Educate patients and families on equipment use, safety, and maintenance
  • Collaborate with physicians and care teams to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Manage respiratory devices including BiPAP, NIV, invasive ventilators, and oxygen therapy
  • Provide support for patients with complex respiratory needs, including invasive and non-invasive ventilation
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including PPE and OSHA protocols
  • Participate in on-call coverage for after-hours patient support as needed

What You Need:
  • Active Respiratory Therapist (RRT, CRT, RC) or RN license
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Prior experience in home healthcare or respiratory therapy preferred
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with patients and teams
  • Reliable transportation for local travel
