Local Travel Respiratory Therapist for a trusted healthcare partner in
San Jose, CA. This
13-week contract offers an exciting opportunity to work with a top-tier clinical team while earning

Position Overview
As a Local Travel Respiratory Therapist, youll deliver essential respiratory care to patients across multiple care settings. Youll work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes while gaining valuable experience in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Responsibilities- Perform respiratory therapy procedures as ordered by physicians, including ventilator management, oxygen therapy, and airway management.
- Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Administer and evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory treatments.
- Assist in emergency situations, including code blue responses.
- Maintain and calibrate respiratory equipment and ensure compliance with hospital safety standards.
- Educate patients and families about respiratory care techniques and home management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient-centered care.
Education and Certification Requirements- Associates or Bachelors degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
- Current CA Respiratory Therapist License.
- Registered with NBRC (National Board for Respiratory Care).
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
- Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
