Position Title: Respiratory Care Director of Clinical Education   Department: Health Sciences   Immediate Supervisor's Title:  Respiratory Care Program Director   Positions Supervised: Clinical Preceptors   Term of Position: 12 Months Full-time Exempt   Position Description:(primary functions)   Minimum Requirements:   Must possess at least a baccalaureate degree, be a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), and hold a professional license or certificate as required by Mississippi. A minimum of four (4) years experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with at least two (2) years experience in clinical respiratory care. Previous teaching experience preferred. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:   Assumes responsibility of keeping records of student attendance, performance, immunization, background check, drug screenings, and academic course work are complete as required by clinical affiliates. Makes reports to the Respiratory Care Program Director and Dean of Health Sciences. Supervises the making of the departmental clinical schedule to be approved and coordinated by the Respiratory Care Program Director and Dean of Health Sciences. Accompanies students to clinical sites.
