Certifications Needed: Current Respiratory Therapist license, BLS, and ACLS (NRP preferred for NICU)
Education: Associate's Degree in respiratory therapy or related field

What Youll Do

Provide advanced respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, ventilation support, and diagnostic testing
Monitor and wean patients from oxygen and ventilators
Draw, analyze, and report arterial blood gases and EKGs
Assist with artificial airway management and other respiratory procedures
Educate patients and staff on respiratory care plans
Maintain accurate documentation of all clinical activities
Comply with hospital policies and safety standards

What You Need
Required:

Valid Respiratory Therapist license for Louisiana
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy
Proven experience in respiratory care (neonatal to geriatric)
Proficiency with Windows applications and data entry

Preferred:

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
Experience working in a hospital setting
