Community Consolidated School District 62 in Des Plaines, Illinois is seeking an ML Resource Teacher at Iroquois Community School for the 2026-2027 school year to cover a one year leave of absence. Iroquois Community School is a school of choice that CCSD 62 offers for those families who are interested in an alternative school calendar; the Iroquois school year starts in July and incorporates longer breaks in the Fall, Winter and Spring.

Qualifications:

1. Completion of a Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university. 2.Current valid Illinois Professional Educator License with appropriate endorsement. 3. Experience as an elementary teacher is preferred.

District 62 has approximately 4,800 students in grades preK-8 in 8 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, 1 early learning center, and 1 year-round, K-8 school.

Compensation Information:

• This position is part of the Des Plaines Education Association and salaries are part of the collective bargaining agreement. This position includes paid sick and personal time.
