The District Behavior Team is seeking one certificated BCBA to provide specialized behavioral support for both general education and special education students. These positions will play a critical role in overseeing Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), supporting high needs behavior classrooms, conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs), developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs), attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, overseeing behavior team RBTs, and providing staff training. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct supervision and support to up to 4 RBTs per BCBA, ensuring adherence to BCBA ethical standards and required supervision hours (6 hrs/month per RBT) as required for the RBTs certification. Conduct comprehensive FBAs and develop high level BIPs for students with significant behavioral needs. Attend and contribute to high level IEP meetings to support student behavioral goals and services. This could include supporting student behavioral goals and services as outlined in student IEPs. Oversee and provide behavior support, classroom structures, and staff training for designated special education programs. Provide ongoing behavior consultation to general education and special education classrooms, assisting with classroom behavior plans and intervention implementation. Lead behavior training sessions for instructional assistants (IAs) and other school staff. Collaborate with district teams and external agencies to ensure best practices and compliance with behavior support standards. Support transition of Intensive Behavior Intervention (IBI) staff to RBT certification, including facilitating training and certification timelines.
