The Resource Specialist Teacher develops and implements individualized education programs for students, aligning activities with the core curriculum. They collaborate with parents, district and county personnel, and agencies to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth using diverse instructional strategies. Continuous assessment ensures students reach their full potential.
Requirements include a valid California Special Education teaching credential (Moderate/Severe preferred; Mild/Moderate with autism authorization accepted), resume, letter of introduction, three recent recommendation letters, transcripts, and an English Learner Authorization.
An incentive bonus of up to $10,000 is offered, paid in three installments over two years, prorated for less than a full day.
