Under the direction of school administrators, the Special Education Teacher instructs students individually and in small groups, develops and implements IEP goals, assesses student progress, and coordinates programs to enhance independence socially, vocationally, and academically.
Qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts degree from an accredited institution, a valid California Education Specialist Instruction credential or equivalent, a valid California Driver's License, and First Aid/CPR certification within six months of employment. Applicants must submit transcripts, credential copy, a letter of introduction, and a resume.
Desirable qualifications include bilingual (Spanish/English) skills. This grant-funded position is valid until 6/30/2026. Reasonable accommodations are available upon request, and foreign transcripts must be evaluated by a CTC-approved agency with documentation attached.
