About the Employer The Santa Barbara County Education Office provides services and leadership to 20 public school districts and 10 charter schools. SBCEO offers programs and services in support of nearly 70,000 children throughout Santa Barbara County - from Santa Barbara to Santa Ynez, Lompoc, Orcutt, and Santa Maria.

Job Summary To act as a Resource Specialist at one or more school sites for the Santa Barbara County Education Office Special Education Program. Responsibilities include assessment, instruction, and evaluation of identified Special Education students with a variety of learning disabilities.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid Mild/Moderate Special Education Credential or willingness to pursue appropriate certification.
• Vacancy will be based in Santa Ynez Valley and will service Ballard Elementary School District and Vista del Mar Union School District.
• Vacancy is for the 2026-2027 school year.
