*We have 2 positions currently open, one is an 8 am - 4 pm shift while the other is 4 pm - 12 am shift*
Pay for this role is $21 per hour
As a Residential Support Specialist in BHN’s ACCS (Adult Community Clinical Services) you will provide direct services to individuals served in a 24/7 program that helps individuals meet their goals and reduce hospitalizations. ACCS provides clinical and rehabilitative interventions to aid in clients mental illness recovery. In this role, you will:
Monitor individuals’ health and well-being, assisting with daily living skills and encouraging independence
Provide medication support and document services provided
Initiate and support quality of life through empowerment, respect, and dignity
Deliver crisis intervention and emergency support as needed
Plan and facilitate opportunities for community activities and social engagement
Help individuals build and maintain social support networks and relationships
Maintain updated credentials through trainings, meetings, and certifications
High school diploma or G.E.D. (required)
At least three months of experience in human services (preferred)
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle available for working hours (required)
Commitment to empowerment, growth, human rights, and community integration
Training provided by BHN – no prior certifications required
