Adult Residential Support Professional (Part-Time, 2nd Shift)

Location: Eau Claire, WI

Pay: Starting at $17.75/hour

Schedule: Every other Saturday & Sunday | 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM

Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI (LSS) is seeking a compassionate Adult Residential Support Professional to join our team at Fahrman Center, a 42-bed residential treatment facility providing inpatient addiction treatment and restorative justice services for adult men and women.

In this role, youll provide direct support to residents by promoting recovery, encouraging positive behaviors, assisting with daily living activities, and helping maintain a safe, structured environment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys making a meaningful impact while working as part of a supportive team.

Please Note: Because Fahrman Center is a co-ed facility, program requirements mandate that both male and female staff are on-site at all times. We are currently seeking a male Adult Residential Support Professional for this shift.

What Youll Do

  • Support, supervise, and positively engage with residents

  • Monitor and administer medications according to program policies

  • Complete documentation and maintain confidential client records

  • Assist with housekeeping, meal preparation, and daily living activities

  • Support residents in achieving treatment goals

  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or crisis situations

  • Transport residents to appointments, meetings, and community activities

  • Collect urine specimens and administer breathalyzer tests as needed

  • Facilitate educational groups and life skills activities

  • Participate in staff meetings and required training

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Experience in human services, behavioral health, or a related field preferred

  • Valid drivers license with an acceptable driving record

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries

  • Medication administration and DHS 83 training preferred (or willing to obtain after hire)
