Target Salary

The approximate pay range for this role $86,320 - $87,568 annually.

Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on multiple factors, including but not limited to, the individual's experience, education, and internal equity.

Job Summary

As a Residential Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of multiple residential homes for adults living with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and complex medical needs. The Residential Supervisor will ensure that our services meet the highest standards and ensure that individuals receiving services are progressing towards their goals. You will provide supervision to Program Directors, support program development, and contribute to the strategic direction of our Residential Division.

Responsibilities

  • Adheres to and ensures appropriate implementation of Northeast Arc Policy and Procedures, including the Standards of Conduct, divisional standards and Funding Source Regulations.

  • Hires and trains Program Directors to ensure full knowledge of Residential Standards, job duties and responsibilities, NeArc policies and DDS regulations.

  • Provides on-going staff supervision, including performance appraisals, training and education, and when necessary, corrective action. Assumes duties of direct reports, as necessary.

  • Assists Division Director to develop and implement residential strategic direction and positive work culture focused on core values.

  • Utilizes a PBS approach when working with staff and individuals, including promoting the agency objectives related to personal growth, community involvement and decision making.

  • Ensure houses are following all Policy Standards and standards established by DPH, DDS and Quality Enhancement. Conducts timely and routine QAs and follows up and corrects issues.

  • Responds to all Team Support Calls and Answering Service Issues. Participates in Weekend Supervisory On-Call Rotation, providing agency-wide administrative oversight and clinical support.

  • Completes fiscal paperwork and monitors the programs budget, identifying any areas of concern.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in related field of study and minimum of three (3) years human service experience OR Masters Degree in related field and two (2) years Human Services Experience.

  • Additional education and training in relevant areas preferred.

  • Prior experience supervising professionals and teams required.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Solid organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to interpret and implement regulations/policies.

  • Proven interpersonal skills to interact effectively with coworkers, employees, individuals, families and outside contacts. Ability to maintain the strictest confidentiality. Ability to analyze problems and determine corrective measures.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and strong computer skills

  • Ability to maintain certifications as required, including but not exclusive to: First Aid, CPR, MAPs, Vehicle Safety, Human Rights, and Fire Safety.

  • A Valid United States Driver’s License and reliable transportation is required.

  • Must be able to work in community settings with individuals in their homes and with their support staff. Must be able to work at a desk/computer in an office environment for extended periods of time.

  • Must be able to successfully complete all relevant background check processes within defined timelines.
