A nonprofit organization in New York City is seeking a dedicated professional to join its residential IRA in Queens as a Residential Manager, providing support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
About the Opportunity:
Schedule: Sunday - Thursday
Hours: Between 7am and 8pm (flexible hours)
Setting: Residential IRA
Patient Population: IDD Adults (21+)
Responsibilities:
Managing and overseeing day-to-day operations
Supervising staff, including DSPs, nurses, and specialists
Ensuring compliance with OPWDD policies and procedures
De-escalating behavioral situations
Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams
Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a similar setting
Associate's and/or Bachelor's Degree
Solid understanding of OPWDD policies
Microsoft Office proficient
Strong communication skills
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Human Services, or related field
AMAP, SCIP, CPR, and First Aid certifications (or ability to obtain)
Experience with Billing in IRA settings
