Residential Maintenance Technician

Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity
TradeWorX is hiring Residential Maintenance Technicians for apartment and residential property work in the Pittsburgh area. We are looking for dependable, well-rounded maintenance professionals who can handle daily repairs, unit turnovers, and general building maintenance with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform general residential maintenance across apartment communities
- Complete unit turnovers, punch-out work, and move-in preparation
- Handle carpentry repairs including trim, doors, hardware, patching, and cabinetry
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical and building system issues
- Perform light electrical repairs including switches, outlets, and fixtures
- Complete basic plumbing repairs including faucets, drains, valves, and minor leaks
- Support HVAC maintenance tasks including filter changes and basic diagnostics
- Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with periodic on-call responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- Well-rounded maintenance background with carpentry and mechanical experience
- Residential or apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot independently
- General hand tools and familiarity with power tools
- Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform physical work
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
