Residential Maintenance Technician
Location: Pittsburgh
Pay: $20/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week | Temp-to-Perm Opportunity

TradeWorX is hiring Residential Maintenance Technicians for apartment and residential property work in the Pittsburgh area. We are looking for dependable, well-rounded maintenance professionals who can handle daily repairs, unit turnovers, and general building maintenance with minimal supervision.

Job Responsibilities

Perform general residential maintenance across apartment communities
Complete unit turnovers, punch-out work, and move-in preparation
Handle carpentry repairs including trim, doors, hardware, patching, and cabinetry
Troubleshoot basic mechanical and building system issues
Perform light electrical repairs including switches, outlets, and fixtures
Complete basic plumbing repairs including faucets, drains, valves, and minor leaks
Support HVAC maintenance tasks including filter changes and basic diagnostics
Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Assist with periodic on-call responsibilities as needed

Requirements

Well-rounded maintenance background with carpentry and mechanical experience
Residential or apartment maintenance experience preferred
Ability to troubleshoot independently
General hand tools and familiarity with power tools
Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform physical work
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Strong communication and customer service skills
