Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, along with a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery, equipment, and facilities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to electrical systems, mechanical components, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).

  • Conduct welding tasks as needed for repairs or modifications.

  • Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.

  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

  • Oversee facilities maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety standards.

  • Provide excellent customer service while interacting with staff and management regarding maintenance needs.

  • Assist in supervising junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and leadership as necessary.

  • Perform residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as required.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance practices.

  • Proficient electrical experience, including the use of tools such as an ohmmeter.

  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and equipment maintenance.

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Experience in supervising teams or individuals is preferred.

  • Customer service-oriented mindset to address facility-related concerns promptly.
