We are looking for an experienced full-time, hourly Maintenance Technician to join our team. Pay Rate:Total annual earnings typically range from $50,000 to $75,000. The position offers a starting hourly rate of $19.00-$27.00, plus commission, with overtime opportunities available.

Job Schedule: Typical schedule is M-F, starting at 7:30am (some nights and weekends may be required as we offer 24-hour service)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to support our HVAC Maintenance team. Duties include performing maintenance tasks on all makes and models of residential HVAC systems (inside and out) all while focusing on providing a "best in class" customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance such as cleaning of coils, drains, and elements; inspecting connections, motor operations, and thermostat function; monitoring refrigerant pressure (and more)
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers and the Sunshine team
• Maintain detailed notes of all interactions in customers' records.
• Maintain inventory/supplies on your assigned company vehicle
• Maintain necessary tools
• Must practice safety at all times

Required Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:

Must have/be:

• Universal EPA Certification or Type II
• Completion of HVAC technical school preferred
• Strong understanding of electrical and refrigeration
• Knowledge of local codes and ordinances
• Willing to work in various weather conditions and through extreme temperatures
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work from 12' extension ladder and an 8' step ladder
• Tools
• Ability to operate power and hand tools safely
• Excellent customer service skills
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Must have solid, stable work history
• A valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
