Job Description
Elwyn is currently seeking a Program Administrator to work with our team. This exempt level position reporting to the Regional Director will have overall administrative and supervisory responsibility, case management coordination, and oversight for the 24/7 operations of one or two 962/853 residential homes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
Successful experience in administering licensed residential services to people with developmental disabilities for at least one year, as evidenced by substantial compliance with the applicable state and federal licensing requirements
Qualified applicants shall meet one or more of the following qualifications:
Complete 35-hour administrator certification program, a licensed registered nurse;
A licensed nursing home administrator;
A licensed psychiatric technician with at least five years of experience serving individuals with developmental disabilities; or
An individual with a bachelor's degree in the health or human services field and two years experience working in a licensed residential program for persons with developmental disabilities and special health care needs.
Ability to complete all trainings as required by applicable regulations, including, but not limited to, DSP1 and DSP2, Regional Center residential service orientation.
Must hold valid (current within one year of date of hire) or else complete a DOJ and FBI fingerprint and criminal clearance and a health screening including a TB test.
Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership skills.
Computer skills required.
Must possess a current, valid driver's license in state of residence, have a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience within the United States, and have an acceptable driving record.
