Residential CAD Drafter - Maitland, FL (Contract-to-Hire & Onsite)
Compensation: $21-$28/hr. (flexible based on experience)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, typical business hours
Our client is an award-winning Residential Design and Architectural firm in the Orlando area. They are growing at a rapid pace and searching for career minded drafting professionals to join their team. Currently, seeking drafters with previous/current residential design and CAD Drafting experience. Basic Florida Building Code knowledge is a plus!
The CAD Drafter responsibilities:
- Drafting of residential Architectural plans using computer aided design programs (AutoCAD or Revit)
- Communicating with internal and external clients
- Maintaining project records
- Producing full construction documents in a production environment
- Performing project administration with the assistance of your team leaders.
Qualifications:- 1+ years of experience with AutoCAD, preferably in the most up-to-date versions within Residential Design (Revit experience a plus!)
- Some knowledge of common Florida Building Codes and construction practices
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in residential design and documentation
- Experience working on full construction documents
- Team player with a great attitude
