Residential Assistant Supervisor II

About the Role

At Hope Network, the Residential Assistant Supervisor II plays an important leadership role within our residential rehabilitation programs. This position partners closely with the Residential Supervisor to help oversee daily operations, support direct care staff, maintain compliance standards, and ensure residents receive high-quality care in a safe and structured home environment.

This role is ideal for someone with residential or human services leadership experience who enjoys mentoring staff, problem solving independently, and remaining actively involved in resident support. The Residential Assistant Supervisor II serves as an extension of leadership coverage within the home, helping provide supervision and operational support outside of the Supervisor's standard working hours.

What You'll Do

  • Support the Residential Supervisor with daily residential program operations
  • Assist with staff scheduling and maintain appropriate staffing coverage
  • Help hire, onboard, train, mentor, and support direct care staff
  • Monitor documentation and ensure compliance with AFC, CARF, and program standards
  • Coordinate resident medical appointments and communicate follow-up care needs
  • Participate in patient care meetings, annual reviews, and family conferences
  • Monitor the home environment for safety, maintenance, and regulatory concerns
  • Respond to urgent resident, staffing, or safety situations as needed
  • Provide direct resident care and participate in the program's staffing ratio
  • Participate in on-call rotation and provide leadership support outside standard business hours
  • Support employee coaching, performance feedback, and staff engagement initiatives
What We're Looking For
  • Associate's degree in Human Services or a related field plus at least one year of experience in a human services setting; OR
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a residential-based supervisory role
  • Previous experience working in a traumatic brain injury (TBI) setting preferred
  • Familiarity with AFC and CARF standards preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and independent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to respond appropriately to medical and behavioral situations
  • Experience training, mentoring, and supporting direct care staff
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to obtain Brain Injury Fundamentals certification within 18 months
