Client Overview:
Our client is a large residential property management organization seeking a professional and customer-focused Resident Services Coordinator to support day-to-day operations at a major residential community in Corona, Queens. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional interested in building a career within real estate, property management, or residential operations.

Salary/Hourly Rate:
$24/hr temporary rate
$55k - $62.5k upon permanent hire

Position Overview:
The Resident Services Coordinator will provide administrative and operational support to the property management team while assisting residents, vendors, and internal departments. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced residential environment. Candidates must be comfortable working fully onsite in Corona, Queens.

Responsibilities of the Resident Services Coordinator:
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and suppliers.
  • Deliver excellent customer service by responding to resident inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate resident service issues with property staff and outside vendors to ensure resolution.
  • Assist with preparing and analyzing monthly financial and operational reports.
  • Monitor property expenses and support budget-related tracking.
  • Coordinate the purchase of services, supplies, and equipment for property operations.
  • Participate in special projects and support day-to-day property operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing and other property-related regulations.
  • Assist with maintaining preventative maintenance schedules and operational workflows.
  • Collaborate with teams across operations, leasing, legal, compliance, and construction.
Required Experience/Skills for the Resident Services Coordinator:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Comfortable learning systems such as Yardi.
  • Must be comfortable working fully onsite in Corona, Queens.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Resident Services Coordinator:
  • Interest in real estate, property management, or residential operations.
  • Internship or prior administrative/customer service experience preferred.
  • Exposure to property management software is a plus.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
