Looking for a role where you can stay active, help others, and make a real impact? Well•Spring is hiring a Resident Safety Assistant to support the safety and security of our community while also assisting with resident transportation needs.
This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in security, law enforcement, or military, or someone who enjoys being hands-on and making a difference.
Position Details
- Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Evening Shift)
- Schedule: Thursday through Sunday (includes weekends)
- Pay Range: $17.02 – $18.05/hour (based on experience)
- Additional Pay: Shift and weekend premium available
What You’ll Do
- Perform routine patrols of the community (both on foot and by vehicle)
- Provide a visible, professional presence to support resident safety
- Respond to safety concerns, incidents, and emergency situations
- Assist residents and visitors with needs (directions, packages, mobility support, etc.)
- Provide transportation for residents as needed
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and vehicle records
- Monitor and report any unusual activity or hazards
- Help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment
(This role supports both safety/security functions and resident transportation needs. )
What We’re Looking For
- Must be 25 years or older
- Valid North Carolina driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related field
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stay alert and make sound decisions
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
