Resident ManagerPosition Overview: Looking for a Resident Manager to support the construction of a dark fiber conduit line across Alabama. This job will be working in tandem with a Construction Manager and an Inspector. The Resident Manager should be based out of the Huntsville, AL area and expect to travel to the construction sites across Alabama roughly 80% of their time.Position Responsibilities:Inspect fiber optic construction sites to ensure they comply with contract terms and local, state, and federal regulations for safety and complianceConduct quality control checks to ensure that the work meets or exceeds the specifications outlined in the project planCommunicate with contractors and other construction personnel to ensure they are meeting project schedule requirementsReport any discrepancies or problems with the construction site to Construction Manager for resolutionIdentify and recommend improvements to the construction process to enhance efficiency and maintain project objectivesMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of all construction activity and project statusRegular deliverables expected of the Resident Manager:Construction Activity RegisterSite Fiber Optic Inspection RegisterConstruction Site Discrepancies Register
