Full-Time Technician Pay Scale: $31.78/hr-$51.49 per hour + $4.00/hour resident field service differential

Responsibilities of a Technician

The position will involve but not be limited to the following duties:

• Assembly, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment and systems such as 450-ton hydraulic shovel, 100-ton up to 250-ton mechanical drive haul trucks, rotary drills, dozers, motor graders, wheel loaders along with haying, feeding, and application equipment. • Troubleshooting capabilities within all machine technology systems and componentry. For example: Hydraulics, electrical, power trains, etc. • Performs work out of a Field Service Truck • Available to handle emergency repair situations after hours as needed • Opportunity for overtime as workload dictates (anything over 8 hours a day is paid at 1.5x your hourly rate) • Safety-minded, proactively maintain a safe and clean work environment • Work independently and as part of a high performing team • Willing and committed to lifelong learning and training to stay ahead of industry standards and product updates • Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs • Opportunity to travel to other Butler and customer locations • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications for a Technician

Two year Associate Degree or equivalent training and experience preferred

Experience in repairs of equipment

Ability to perform some welding and knowledge of cutting torch

Willingness to work OT to take care of the customer

Individual must be self-motivated, organized, and self-sufficient and have the ability to work alone

Possess excellent written and oral communication skills

Willingness to travel

Pre-employment drug testing conducted

Must have and maintain a clean driving record

At least 21 years of age or older

CDL preferred or willingness to pursue

Ability to provide an excellent customer experience

Proficient computer technology skills

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to learn new skills quickly

Willingness to acquire trade-specific tooling, including hand and impact tools

Must have valid work authorization and be able to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship

MSHA experience preferred

Individual must live within 30 miles of Hazen, ND
