GENERAL PURPOSE
The Resident Director (RD) position is essential to the core mission of the Office of Residence Life, and it is part of a team that provides leadership and support for Molloy's residential student population. The RD provides oversight for a staff of Resident Assistants (RAs) and assigned building(s). This includes working with Residence Life team members and Division of Student Affairs staff on facilities, operations and programmatic endeavors to ensure student support and success while on campus. This is a live-in position, and the RD is expected to be available after hours and on weekends/holidays. The RD is expected to be a strong communicator committed to overall student success and providing strong customer service. This position will also oversee the department's social media accounts.

SALARY INFORMATION
When determining the salary offer for a new employee, Molloy considers several key characteristics such as job knowledge, skills, and experience as well as internal and external equity. The hiring hourly rate for this position is $22.00 to $23.00. On campus apartment is provided. This hourly rate represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
