What You’ll Do as a Resident Care Assistant (RCA) As an RCA, you’ll provide support to residents and assist our nursing team with day-to-day care. Responsibilities include: Assisting residents with personal care (such as eating, grooming, and mobility) Preparing and serving meals and snacks, tracking consumption Helping with light housekeeping and keeping resident spaces tidy Offering companionship through conversation and small group activities Supporting resident safety by monitoring fall risks and responding quickly Transporting residents to activities, chapel, or in-house appointments Ensuring residents feel cared for, valued, and respected What We’re Looking For Age 16 A caring, patient, and cheerful demeanor Dependability and a heart for serving older adults Ability to read, write, and communicate in English Willingness to follow policies, procedures, and uphold Fairmount’s mission and values Benefits of Joining Fairmount Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) plan Employee discounts at the Fairmount Café Opportunities for growth and advancement Physical Requirements This role involves standing, walking, bending, and pushing/pulling wheelchairs or carts.
