Qualifications:
- Adheres to and conveys philosophy of supporting dignity, privacy, independence, choice, individuality, and a home-like environment for the residents
- Communicate and maintain positive relationships with employees, residents and families to achieve excellent quality of life
- Use integrity, good judgement, and problem-solving skills in making decisions
- High level of organization & attention to detail
- Compile and maintain accurate reporting as required/requested
- Bathe and dress residents
- Change bed linens and restock rooms with necessary supplies
- Answer call lights and requests in a professional timely manner
- High energy with a proactive work ethic
- Report observed changes in resident's condition or behavior promptly to supervisor
- Record and communicate appropriately in the resident's chart and to supervisor
- Assist Activities Department in activities that support quality of life for the residents
- Report to work on-time and ready for the workday
- Attend/complete requires in-services and other mandatory trainings and meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of Healthcare, Assisted Living, PCH (Personal Care Home) experience in the Senior Living environment
- CPR, First Aid & Fire Safety certifications
