We are seeking a dedicated and Biblically focused Resident Adjunct Instructor to teach undergraduate economics courses. This role involves delivering high-quality instruction in introductory and/or intermediate economics, including microeconomics and macroeconomics, within a faith-based academic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach introductory and/or intermediate undergraduate economics courses, such as microeconomics and macroeconomics.
- Deliver engaging, well-structured lectures that integrate Biblical perspectives where appropriate.
- Facilitate meaningful class discussions that encourage critical thinking and application of economic principles.
- Assess student performance through assignments, exams, and other evaluation methods.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the institution's learning management system.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student learning and success.
- Be available for student consultation and support outside of class time.
- Adhere to course syllabi, academic policies, and institutional standards, ensuring alignment with the institution's Biblical mission and values.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Economics or a related field, with at least 18 graduate credit hours in economics.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
