What does a RESIDENCE SPECIALIST II do?

As a Residence Specialist II at Cumberland County Guidance Center, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients through personalized care and support. You will be actively involved in the development of individual comprehensive service plans, ensuring each client receives tailored support that meets their unique needs. Your keen observations and communication skills will be essential as you relay important information to the program coordinator, RN, and treatment team, contributing to effective service coordination. Documenting detailed progress notes will allow for precise tracking of client development.

You'll be on-site to supervise and organize recreational and social activities, fostering essential social and daily living skills. Additionally, you will assist clients with transportation and promote the use of community services, all while participating in team meetings focused on treatment planning. This dynamic role ensures that you make a meaningful impact daily!
