The Research Technician/Technologist is responsible for performing all technical duties in one of the functional areas of Electronic, Mechanical, CAD or Software to develop product and research solutions.
+ Support the qualification and commercialization of products and research.
+ Participate in the development of new technologies and low-cost innovations that maintain Schlumberger's technical leadership position.
+ Develop and conduct tests, measurements and procedures, and generate designs and programs at various levels of complexity.
+ Conduct troubleshooting to diagnose product, process, design or program defects and repair them.
+ Exercise judgment to recognize and handle nonstandard occurrences and problems.
+ Coordinate and communicate work efforts within Engineering, and with related company organizations and vendors.
+ Maintain a safe work environment.
+ Direct or assign the work of other technicians as required.
+ Participate in recruiting.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ 12+ years of experience in testing and assembling BOP
