The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified candidate to fill an hourly Research Technician position. Neuroimaging working group (LeeLab) in Mental Health Data Science, New York State Psychiatric Institute, and the Department of Biostatistics at Columbia University seek a Research Technician. We are an interdisciplinary collaborative group of researchers from various fields, including neuroscience, psychiatry, psychology, and biomedical engineering, besides biostatistics. We work together to advance the field and promote research in multiple areas of neuroscience. Neuroimaging refers to various imaging techniques to study the brain and nervous system's structure, function, and pathology. Our group has been actively involved in analyzing magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET), and Electroencephalography (EEG). In addition, we focus on studying brain development, aging, and neurodegenerative diseases, identifying biomarkers for neurological disorders, or developing new techniques to understand mechanisms of brain development, aging, psychiatric pathology, and neurodegeneration.
