Conduct scientific research:

  • This includes learning techniques such as protein assay, immunohistochemistry, and cell culture with downstream analysis.
  • Attend weekly lab meeting to present project updates.
  • Participate in development of scientific projects, grant writing, and manuscript writing and preparation.
  • Develop scientific figures for projects.
  • Stay up to date with literature.
  • Attend and partake in local seminars and conferences.

Lab maintenance:

  • Mopping/sweeping
