JOB DESCRIPTIONS:

This person will be responsible for administrative aspects of the project including IRB filings and
compliance, coordination of the research procedures and administration of behavioral/EEG and
fMRI testing. The TBH will work under the clinical supervision of Dr. Javitt and research supervision
of Dr. Martinez.

JOB DUTIES:

Run EEG, fMRI, and eye tracking studies on patients with schizophrenia. Analyze recorded data
using Matlab, EEGlab, BESA and other analysis programs; perform statistical analysis of data using
SPSS and Matlab; supervise and maintain laboratory; participate in scheduling experiments, and
running behavioral neuropsychological experiments.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

• BA or BS is required
• Experience managing an EEG laboratory, including programming with software such as
Presentation and E-Prime
• Experience conducting EEG data analysis using tools like Matlab, BESA, and SPSS

Preferred Qualifications:

• BA or BS in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field.
• Experience working with clinical populations and administering neuropsychological assessments
• Familiarity with both human and non-human (e.g., rodent) research subjects is highly valued in, cluding experience
with rodent electrophysiology and neural recording techniques
