Summary
We are seeking a Research Specialist III to join the Tissue Core Team.
Tissue Core is one of the Shared Resource facilities at Moffitt Cancer Center (MCC) and serves as the institution's central biorepository. Established in 1992, our mission is to collect, process, store, and distribute high-quality, annotated biospecimens to support innovative oncology research across basic, population, clinical, and translational disciplines.
Operating across multiple Moffitt campuses, Tissue Core functions as a hub for advanced histopathology and translational research. Our team specializes in:
Tissue Core is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of over 40 professionals, including Biorepository Coordinators, Research Specialists, Staff Scientists, Supervisors, Team Leads, Research Pathologists, and Administrators. Together, we support biospecimen banking operations, clinical trials, and biospecimen-driven research studies across the cancer center.
