Position Summary

This position will serve as a Research Specialist for the EPI-NC program, leading statewide implementation and support of evidence-based early psychosis services (Coordinated Specialty Care). This role oversees training, technical assistance, workforce development, fidelity monitoring, quality improvement, and stakeholder engagement to enhance service delivery and expand access across North Carolina. The position manages staff, coordinates educational initiatives and implementation supports, facilitates cross-sector collaboration, and ensures effective dissemination of resources. Responsibilities also include program evaluation, reporting, project and budget management, and ongoing development of strategies to strengthen statewide care systems.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the area of assignment; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

• Minimum one year experience managing complex large budgets, website design, Project ECHO coordination and regulatory documents, and statewide symposium planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work and communicate with diverse populations effectively and professionally.
• Ability to work independently as well as function as part of a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

• Previous program management experience.
• Previous experience coordinating diverse stakeholders for interdisciplinary meetings and projects.
• Demonstrated skill in newsletter and flyer production, data synthesis for semi-annual and annual reports.
• Demonstrated ability to provide content expertise related to early psychosis treatment team development, training, and evaluation.
