TITLE: Research Engineer I

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Position Acts as a liaison between Intellectual Property lawyers and R&D and Technical at Inteplast. Objective is to develop and protect intellectual properties.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's or master's in engineering: Material Science, Mechanical, or Polymer a plusEngineering studies and researchExcellent verbal/written skillsExperience in Microsoft Office SuiteEnsure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessaryCapable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify potential patent or trademark opportunitiesManage and maintain Inteplast's IP portfolioAdvise on IP issuesAdvise on technical issues from production to end productMaintain certification and compliance in regard to oversight entitiesOther duties as assigned by supervisor
