HJF is seeking a part-time Research Assistant I to perform research and/or development in collaboration with others for projects. The Research Assistant provides laboratory and technical support to senior technical and professional staff and solves less complex problems in carrying out research projects in a laboratory environment.

The Research Assistant will perform functions related to the study of various aspects of traumatic brain injury by performing various protein biomarkers studies. This position will be in support of Department of Anatomy, Physiology & Genetics (APG) at the Uniformed Services University in Bethesda, MD.

This position will be scheduled for up to 20 hours per week and is currently funded through June 2027 with possibility to extend.
