This role will be in direct support of the Director of Surgical Quality and will also supports two National data programs overseen by the American College of Surgeons: The National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP) and the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer (NAPRC), and clinical trials within the Department of Surgery at Fox Chase Cancer Center-Temple Health. The Data Manager will:
Literature search/review- Search and review literature in pertinent areas preparing written reports as necessary.
Photocopy, organize, and maintain journal articles accurate
Data Analysis- Assist with data analysis, such as data cleaning and interview transcription.
Be responsible for overall coordination of the clinical trial activities.
Maintain ongoing communication with the study team, sponsor, CROs, finance, subcontractors, including team meeting
Ensure the integrity of assigned databases as well as accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
Education
Bachelor's Degree Required
Master's Degree Public Health, Computer/IT related field Preferred
Experience
3 years experience in related field Required
2 years experience in a health care setting Preferred
2 years experience in clinical databases Preferred
