| Job Description: | Program Director Support: Assist Program Director, Associate and Assistant Program Directors. Assist in the creation of competency-based goals and objectives for resident rotations. Troubleshoot discrepancies and determine appropriate corrective actions to be taken. Collaborate in the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and standards, and communicate associated changes. Maintain the residency curriculum including competency-based goals and objectives for each assignment and level of training. Act as a liaison between residents and administration when necessary. Provide administrative support as needed. Residency/Fellowship: Provide administrative supervision and support to resident trainees. Establish relationships and act as liaison to other hospitals and divisions regarding required training and external rotations. Attend New Innovations training as assigned; update resident profiles in New Innovations; track resident rotations, monitor duty hour violations. Process and track leave requests; update call schedule and enter in Shand’s call system. Coordinate the PRITE (Psychiatry Resident in Training Examination) exam (proctoring and exam coding) and preparation. Assist with graduation planning. Responsible for resident recruitment (create recruitment interview schedules, assemble recruitment folders and distribute to each recruit, create itineraries, invite applicants to interview, and collect needed data for each interview day. Responsible for resident orientation (scheduling sessions, compiling orientation packet, monitoring incoming residents/fellows onboarding and offboarding. Collaborate with Fellowship Coordinators (clerical duties and events) when needed. Oversee the Resident/Fellow travel needs. Manage VA timesheets to ensure proper reporting and reconcile quarterly invoice. Oversight of Program Letters of Agreement and resident verifications. Submit moonlighting reports to Human Resources for payment. Maintain and monitor shared mailboxes and calendars. Program Compliance: Quarterly, biannual, and annual reporting as required to maintain compliance with the Office of Graduate Medical Education, ACGME and ABPN as well as maintaining residency records within New Innovations and EPIC on-call systems. Assist in resident recruitment efforts including maintenance of the ERAS and Thalamus application programs. Coordinate SOAP participation if needed. Create Program Letters of Agreement and rotations contracts as needed for all NFESH/NFETC and external rotations and sites. Administrative Assistance: Assisting the Education and CME Coordinator as backup for duties including arranging for room reservation, audiovisual equipment requirements and presentation materials. Assist with event planning as needed. Backup support for Clinical Competency and Program Evaluation Committee meetings, including agenda preparation and creating meeting minutes as needed. Other duties as assigned. |
| Expected Salary: | $50,000 - $60,000 |
| Minimum Qualifications: | Bachelors degree and two years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. |
